I always liked graphics and stuff… Since when I was 10, and I was used to watch MTV with my sister, I was more interested in the promos than in the music videos….
“I hate Philippe Starck”
I designed this three grapichs just to say, in a very ironical way, what it seems to be the “DESIGN” today. For most of the people, “design” is the same as “style”, “shape”… I absolutely don’t think so. I think that style is important, but it’s not the only thing about a design object. An industrial design project has to be functional, and then good-looking. And if an object is good designed, and it does very well what it is designed for, then it will be automatically good-looking.
So… nothing personal, Philippe… it was just a joke!
“I’m so t-shirts”
This is a project that I’m carrying on together with a friend of mine, Alberto Gallo. We decided to print some shirts, just to have fun. Maybe you won’t understand all of these graphics, and that’s because the topics of these shirts are arguments that you can understand just if you are from Turin.. It’s like a gift to our city…
“I’m so indie with my lomo”
This is our first graphic. It’s something that is obviously not happening just in my city, but in Turin there are so many people that is convinced that having a photo camera means being a photographer!! ( a great one actually…) And if you are an “indie” kind of guy, you MUST have a lomo…
“I’m so mostricci with my wayfarer”
This is a graphic that you simply can’t understand if you’re not from Turin. Ale Mostricci is a very famous local dj, everybody in Turin knows him. And of course they know his pair of Rayban Wayfarer that he always wears…
“I’m so indie with my lomo, also in the night”
Once we had the shirts, we needed a party! And so we organized one! The 7th of July, in Magazzini di Giancarlo, a nice place in the center of the city, we had our party… and it was great! Check the flyer!!!
New shirts will come soon!
